Somatic Therapy Sessions
$100 - $135
Somatic therapy sessions include Somatic Experiencing®, coaching, gentle movement, and touch work. Somatic therapy can support the renegotiation of past traumatic events and can facilitate the processing of fight, flight and freeze response patterns that remain in the body's physiology after stressful or traumatic experiences. Completing these survival patterns can bring a greater capacity for self-regulation and an increased sense of social engagement, well-being, and integration.
During sessions, we slow down the client's experience, allowing the body to process events in the present moment. We mindfully track the nervous system, including body sensations, images, emotions, thoughts, and movement, and we make sure to stay within the client's window of tolerance to build capacity over time.

Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP) is a body-based therapeutic modality focused on healing developmental and attachment trauma.
PSIP works with cannabis and ketamine to give the user access to deeper layers of the unconscious mind and to work with the body to better address the traumas and experiences that hold them back.
PSIP is an intensive process that requires a substantial amount of preparation work before beginning the treatment process.
We have an entire page outlining the PSIP process.

Our Approach
Providers are informed by their experiences and free to practice following their prevailing paradigm. However, there are four unifying principles we adhere to.
-
We do not pathologize our clients.
-
We view mental health challenges as an opportunity for personal and spiritual development.
-
Symptoms are not the problem; they are the solution to intolerable pain developed out of a need for survival.
-
We get hurt in relationships; therefore, we heal in relationships. We are people before we are practitioners, and we value the relationship with our clients above all else.
